Bu calismada, 1983-2003 yillari arasinda Ilgaz Orman sletme Mudurlugunde gerceklestirilenOmerli-Caltipinar, Kizilibrik-Sogutcuk-Yenice, Devrez, Saraycik, ndag, Pazarcayi ve Melenagaclandirma sahalarinin kritigi yapilmistir.Agaclandirma alanlarinin mevcut durumlarinin tespiti yapilmistir. Ayni zamanda baki veyukselti farkliliklarinin gelisim uzerine etkili olup olmadigini belirlemek amaciyla; OmerliCaltipinar,Kizilibrik-Sogutcuk-Yenice ve Devrez agaclandirma alanlarinda her bir agac turuicin farkli baki ve yukseltilerden olmak kaydiyla, 3'er metre araliklarla rastgele alinan 50'seradet bireyin dip caplari ve boylari olculmustur. Ayrica, Saraycik, ndag, Pazarcayi ve Melenagaclandirma alanlarinda farkli baki ve farkli yukseltilerden 400 m2'lik (20x20 m) ornek alanlaralinarak bu alan icerisindeki tum bireylerin d0.30 caplari ve boylari tespit edilmistir.Olculen verilerin tanitici istatistikleri yapilmistir. Soz konusu verilerin; baki, yukselti ve egimfaktorleri esas alinarak karsilastirilmasi amaciyla ANOVA testi uygulanmistir. Sozu edilen testsonuclarina gore gerekli goruldugu hallerde, istatistik olarak onemli farkliga sahip gruplarinbelirlenmesi amaciyla da Duncan testi uygulanmistir.Toros sediri fidanlarinin boy degerleri ile baki etkisi birlikte ele alindiginda guneydogu veguneybati bakilardaki fidanlarin boylari arasinda onemli bir farkliligin bulunmadigi buna karsincap-boy degerleri ile egim etkisi birlikte ele alindiginda, egimininin Toros sediri fidanlarininboy ve cap gelisimi uzerinde onemli bir etkisinin bulundugu, egimin azalmasi halinde fidanlarinboy ve cap bakimindan daha iyi bir gelisim gosterdigi tespit edilmistir. Anadolu karacaminin eniyi boy ve dip cap/d0,30 gelisimini guneydogu, kuzeybati ve kuzeydogu bakilarda, %5-10 ile %40-50 egimlerde ve 1000-1100 ile 1300-1400 m yukseltilerde yaptigi saptanmistir. Saricamin eniyi boy ve dip cap/d0,30 gelisimini bati, guneydogu, kuzeybati bakilarda, %0-10 egimlerde ve1600-1650 m yukseltilerde yaptigi tespit edilmistir. Yalanci akasyanin en iyi boy ve dip capgelisimini guneydogu bakida yaptigi, egim ve yukselti bakimindan herhangi bir farklilikbulunmadigi saptanmistir. Mahlebin deneme alanlarindaki dip cap ve boy gelisimleri arasindakifarkliligin egim, yukselti ve/veya bu iki faktorun birlikte etkisinden mi kaynaklandigi tespitedilememistir. AbstractIn this study, critiques of, Omerli-Caltipinar, Kizilibrik-Sogutcuk-Yenice, Devrez, Saraycik,ndag, Pazarcayi and Melen afforestation areas which were completed by Ilgaz ForestEnterprise between 1983 and 2003.Current statuses of afforestation sites have been determined. Basal diameters and heights of 50saplings? which were randomly selected and at least 3 meters far from another, were measuredin sample areas that were at different aspects and elevations in Omerli-Caltipinar, Kizilibrik-Sogutcuk-Yenice and Devrez in order to determine if the aspect and elevation affects saplings?height development. Also, all saplings? height and d0,30 values in boundaries of a 400 m²(20x20m) areas were measured at randomly selected sample areas which are at various aspectsand elevations in Saraycik, ndag, Pazarcayi and Melen afforestation sites.Descriptive statistics of measured data have been given in the study. Anova tests were appliedfor comparison of data according to aspect, elevation and slope. Based on the results of Anova,Duncan?s multiple comparison tests were applied if needed.According to the results, no significant effect was determined between heights of Taurus cedarsaplings at southeast and south aspects. However, those were determined that a significant effectof elevation over height and diameter development and decreasing slope causes better diameterand height development. It was also determined that the best height and basal diameterdevelopment have occurred at southeast, northwest and northeast aspects, at 5-10%, 40-50%slopes, and between 1000-1100, 1300-1400 m elevations for Cremean pine; the best height andbasal diameter development have occurred at west, southeast and northwest aspects, at 0-10%slopes, and between 1600-1650 m elevations for Scots pine. It was determined that the bestdiameter and height development have occurred at southeast aspect, and there was no significantdifference in regard to slope and elevation for black locust. There were significant differencesbetween basal diameter and height data of Mahaleb cherry. However, the real causes for thedifferences were unable to determine whether due to slope, elevation and/or their interaction.
