CHEMICAL KINETICS OF NITRENDIPINE SYNTHESIS

In absolute ethyl alcohol at reflux temperature,the synthesis ofnitrendipine from methyl β-aminocrotonate and ethyl m-nitrobenzylideneacetoace-rate is a reaction of second order with rate constant k=2.76×10~(-1)L·mol~(-1)·miu~(-1).The synthetic reaction in nonpolar solvent toluene was also studied.
