Simulación de las etapas de la cirrosis hepática orientada a la formación médica.

2021
At present, technology oriented to the field of medicine, specifically to the study of human anatomy is a support resource for learning, being the simulation the most used; in the study of several important diseases (cirrhosis), this resource is not used, in which the traditional study model is used. For this reason, the present degree work (TT) aims to build a simulation of the liver organ with the stages of cirrhosis for medical training, with which the research question is: Will the explorational simulation of the liver with the various stages of liver cirrhosis help to a better understanding of the disease? The reso-lution of the TT was executed in three phases, for the first phase, through the use of a literature review (RB) and a systematic review of literature (RSL) it was possible to ob-tain the information of the organ (anatomy), the symptoms suffered by each stage of cirrhosis and the development tools used in human anatomy; Zbrush for the develop-ment of 3D models and Unity3D for the creation of the simulation through a mobile ap-plication. In the second phase, the mobile application was developed, this by using the Mobile-D methodology; for the execution of the 3D models, the data collected was used, with advice from a professional in the field and the implementation of the infor-mation. As a third phase, an experimental environment was carried out for the academ-ic and professional verification of the prototype, regarding its feasibility, with the partici-pation of 50 students of the Human Medicine Career of the National University of Loja (CMH-UNL) and 10 specialists, who were chosen by applying non-probabilistic sam-pling. The results obtained show that the application is very useful, giving a level of ac-ceptance of 72% and 90% respectively. To conclude, it is determined that the virtual simulation of the liver is an academic technological resource that contributes to the un-derstanding of the disease (cirrhosis).
