Oral cavity carcinoma is a very common malignancy inflicting more commonly tobacco users. If diagnosed at an early stage it is potentially curable with surgery or radiotherapy or a combination of both. In locally advanced disease, long term disease control can be achieved in more than a third of patients with a combination of surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. This chapter will describe in brief examination, workup and staging and treatment of oral cavity carcinoma
