山梨医大で6年間に治療を行ったBCCは57例62病巣であった。そのうち体幹四肢に生じた症例は, 胸部1例, 腋窩1例, 上肢2例, 下肢2例の計6例12.6%であった。体幹四肢のBCCは典型的な結節を形成することは少なく表在型, 扁平瘢痕型, 潰瘍型と, 水平方向の発育傾向が強く, 頭頸部のBCCと発育形態が異なることが示唆された。
