Inelastic Neutron scattering study of new mercury based superconductors

Abstract We report on results of superconducting Hg-1201 and Hg 1212 samples and nonsuperconducting superconducting references. A generalized phonon density of states G( hω ) is obtained from the raw data and compared to results for YBaCuO and to model calculations.
