Establishment of the configuations of hexahydro-4-(4-ethoxycarbonyl-butyl)-3a-hydroxy-2-oxo-1H-thieno[3,4-d]imidazoles from PMR spectral data

The configurations of isomeric hexahydro-4-(4-ethoxy-carbonylbutyl)-3a-hydroxy-2-oxo-1H-thieno[3,4-d]imidazoles were determined by PMR spectroscopy by means of angular and temperature dependences of the vicinal spin-spin coupling constants (SSCC).
