Garbage truck and unloading method thereof

The invention discloses an unloading method of a garbage truck. The unloading method comprises the following steps of: causing a garbage can containing garbage to move to a working position from an initial position, wherein the working position comprises a first working position and a second working position; firstly, lifting the rear end of the garbage can to enter the first working position; and then lifting the front end of the garbage can to enter the second working position, wherein the bottom of the garbage can inclines underside backward when the garbage can is in the second working position. The invention also discloses a garbage truck adopting the unloading method disclosed by the invention. A lifting mechanism of the garbage truck comprises a lifting cylinder and a link mechanism which are connected together, by virtue of coordination of the lifting cylinder and the link mechanism, the lifting mechanism can cause the garbage can to enter the first working position from the initial position and then enter the second working position from the first working position.
