FORMULATION OF TRAJECTORIES OF AIR PARTICLES WITH THE AID OF ELECTRONIC COMPUTERS

Abstract : A method is described of formulating diagnostic trajectories of air particles with the aid of electronic computers. The advantage of this method in comparison with the synoptic method of formulating trajectories lies in the fact, that it considers more accurately the wind changes in time and space. A system is proposed of compiling prognostic trajectories on the surface of 700 mb with the use of data gained by observing the wind at initial moment of time. (Author)
