ANGULAR MOMENTUM STATES FOR THREE RELATIVISTIC PARTICLES

Abstract A complete set of angular momentum states for three free relativistic particles is described, the main purpose being to write formulas which are simple and explicit enough to be used in detailed calculations. The three particles may have arbitrary masses and spins. The scheme is a generalization of the states introduced by Dalitz in the study of τ-meson decay. An angular-momentum recoupling coefficient is computed explicitly.
