압축천연가스 급속충전에 따른 압력용기 온도상승 연구

2012
Upon taking the opportunity of holding the World Cup games in Korea and Japan in 2002, CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) buses have been introduced to Korea to improve the atmospheric environment in Seoul. As of June 2012, approximately 30,000 buses are being operated. Although the atmospheric environment in Seoul has been improved due to the adoption of eco-friendly CNG buses, there have been more than 10 major and minor accidents. One CNG bus accident in Hangdang-dong on Aug. 9, 2010 occurred while it was in motion, which posed a great shock to citizens using public transportation. In this paper, an approach was made regarding temperature increase with pressure increase during CNG filling. A thermodynamic numerical model regarding temperature increase due to adiabatic compression during filling was presented and theoretically analyzed using the MATLAB program. Temperature sensors were installed on the dome part of the container from January to October of 2012 to collect and analyze 24-hour temperature data. As a result of temperature data analysis, it was estimated that the temperature increased approximately more than 30℃ due to pressure difference during the filling.
