a b s t r a c t The charge ordered Bi0:4Ca0:4Sr0:2MnO3 (BCSMO) film has been grown on (011) SrTiO3: Nb (STON) (0.05 wt%) substrate. The charge ordering (CO) transition is realized at 336 K. The BCSMO/STON heterojunction shows excellent rectifying behavior. Through the capacitance measure of the junction, itisfoundthatthebuilt-inpotentialoftheheterojunctionisaffectedbytheCOtransition.Aupwardshift ofthebuilt-inpotentialofthejunctionappearsaroundtheCOtransitiontemperature,whichisascribed tothechangeoftheFermilevelinBCSMOfilm. ’2010ElsevierLtd.Allrightsreserved.
