Multiple Invariance PM-based Blind Carrier Frequency Offset Estimation for Multiple Antennas OFDM Electrical Special Network

The electrical wireless network builds 4G TD-LTE network in 1.8GHz band. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and multiple antennas are the key technologies. This paper considers the problem of carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation for multiple antenna OFDM system, which is the key technique in 4D TD-LTE network. In the proposed algorithm, the received signal is reconstructed so that the multi-invariance property could be exploited for CFO estimation. The proposed algorithm performs better than the propagator method (PM) and estimating signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT). Furthermore, the proposed algorithm has low complexity since it has no requirement for eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) of the cross correlation matrix nor singular value decomposition (SVD) of the received data. Simulation results illustrate effectiveness and improvement of the algorithm.
