The Importance of the Multidisciplinary Approach

It is well established that a multidisciplinary team is crucial in assessment and diagnosing children with FASD [1, 2]. However, when it comes to clinical management, research is lacking with regard to both standardized tailored management programs and recommendation plans/guidelines for a comprehensive provision of healthcare, educational, and social services. A multidiciplinary approach to management is reccomended and types of treatment and interventions that should be considered are listed in this chapter.
