Liquid discharge component and liquid discharge device

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge component having an advantageous constitution for restraining electric power consumption.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge component comprises a plurality of discharge parts arranged so as to constitute a plurality of rows along the first direction and a plurality of lines along the second direction. The discharge parts include a discharge port, a liquid chamber communicated with the discharge port, a recording element for imparting energy to liquid in the liquid chamber and a driving circuit for driving the recording element. The liquid discharge component comprises a logical circuit for controlling respective driving circuits of the plurality of discharge parts. The number of rows is larger than the number of lines. The logical circuit includes a plurality of shift registers for transferring data supplied to the driving circuit of the plurality of discharge parts in the second direction, the respective shift registers are constituted so as to supply the data to the discharge part of at least one line, the respective shift registers include the series connection of a plurality of flip-flops corresponding to the plurality of rows, and the data is supplied to the driving circuit of the discharge part of a corresponding line and a corresponding row to the flip-flop from the respective flip-flops.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
