The invention discloses a communication interface of a space-based route switching system and the space-based route switching system. The communication interface of the space-based route switching system comprises a first interface and a second interface. The first interface comprises a first transmission module, a first receiving module, and a first frame length control module which is connected with the first transmission module and the first receiving module respectively. The second interface comprises a second transmission module, a second receiving module, and a second frame length control module which is connected with the second transmission module and the second receiving module. The first frame length control module is used for setting the frame length of a data frame transmitted by the first transmission module to be a first frame length, and setting the frame length of the data frame received by the first receiving module to be a second frame length. The second frame length control module is used for setting the frame length of the data frame transmitted by the second transmission module to be a frame length, and setting the frame length of the data frame received by the second receiving module to be the first frame length. The communication interface is applied to unit boards among which data can be stably transmitted at an adjustable rate in the space-based route switching system.
