Synthesis of reflectarrays with mutual couplings

This paper presents a synthesis process to design reflectarray with mutual couplings. The analytical solver developed uses a database with the `identity card' of the reflectarray geometry and cells. This process allows a fast electromagnetic (EM) design and performances study of the antenna. It is also helpful to detail the reflectarray EM behavior. In this contribution, we use this synthesis process to investigate some interesting EM properties while designing reconfigurable reflectarrays.
