Difficult Cases and Complications from Catheterization Laboratory: A Case of Mitral Cleft

In the first experience on MitraClip, cleft presence was considered a contraindication to the procedure. We describe a case of posterior leaflet cleft, in which the 3D echocardiography visualized the anatomical leaflet modification and the technique chosen to avoid a procedural failure.
