This report outlines the successes that Jhpiego (an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University) has experienced addressing the comprehensive health needs of people living with HIV / AIDS in two slum communities in Nairobi. It discusses how Jhpiego projects have strengthened health care facilities increased community awareness and support for HIV-affected people empowered people living with HIV / AIDS and improved community linkages to HIV care.
