A process for the preparation of glycol / water mixtures from natural gas production is to be further developed such that a better separation efficiency of the solids to be separated is achieved. This is achieved in that the glycol / water mixture is subjected to a first membrane separation process and the main stream of the gewonenenen by the membrane separation process the concentrate is recycled to the membrane separation process and at least a partial flow of the concentrate obtained is discharged.
