Nottinghamshire's road ramps scheme

The ramps are constructed of thermoplastic screed built up in layers to form a castellated profile. Their design is shown in Fig. 1. They have been shown to be effective in reducing the speed of vehicles approaching the junction and have not proved detrimental to road-users
