A TAXONOMIC STUDY ON THE GENUS BAES NAVS FROM CHINA(NEUROPTERA,PSYCHOPSIDAE)

The Chinese species of psychopsid genus Balmes Navas, 1910 is revised. Five species are recognized: Balmes birmanus Maclachlan, B. chikuni sp. nov., B. formosus (Kuwayama), B. notabilis Navas and B. terissinus Navas. A checklist and a key to the Chinese known species of Balmes are provided. Balmes chikuni sp. nov. is described and illustrated.
