Reactions of C2 oxy-hydrocarbons at high temperatures

2005
Rate constants of unimolecular decompositions of alcohols were evaluated from time profiles of H-atoms measured through diaphragm-less shock tube techniques with newly developed-atomic resonance absorption spectroscopy. Superiority of this observation system is demonstrated in comparison with former reports on the rate constants of unimolecular decompositions of C2H5OH and CH3OH.
