Метан в донных осадках и водном слое над тектоническими разломами в Амурском заливе Японского моря

Results of research of methane content in bottom sediments and water layer in the areas contiguous to tectonic faults and in the areas with no tectonic faults in the north part of the Amur Bay of the Sea of Japan are presented. The maximum values of methane concentrations (till the bubble drift) were found in bottom sediments in the vicinity of Muravyevskiy tectonic fault. This provides estimation of Muravyevskiy fault contribution to methane content as the most important. The role of another tectonic fault, which is stretched in direction of the Amur Bay center line, to the methane concentration in sediments and water layer is negligible.
