Distribution Center Management Information System Design and Development

The distribution center is a new model of modern commodity circulation, and is becoming the focus of the domestic retail industry.The necessity of building distribution center management information system was discussed from the angle of supply chain management.Based on understanding of the distribution center business processes, the function demand of system was analyzed and its function structure was designed, distribution center management information system was development.The browser/server(B/S) model, the VS.NET technology and SQL Server database were adopted in the system.The managerial effectiveness was enhanced and the win-win aim came true in supply chain which adopted the system.
