DEFINIÇÃO DE UMA CLASSIFICAÇÃO CLIMÁTICA PARA O ESTUDO DE EDIFICAÇÕES COM BALANÇO ANUAL ZERO DE ENERGIA NO BRASIL

2014
This article aims to establish a climate grading for the development of concepts for buildings with zero annual energy balance, NZEB (Net Zero Energy Building). To achieve the goal of zero annual balance of electricity consumed coming from the national grid, it is assumed that outdoor air temperature, relative humidity and global solar radiation are the most relevant climatic variables to this building concept. Limit values of these variables were determined by cluster analysis. The development of climatic classification was necessary to establish hierarchical potential scenarios for this purpose. The geospatial delineation of the climate classes and the extrapolating data for locations without measurements were obtained using the deterministic interpolation method of inverse distance weighting (IDW). This paper was prepared as the first part of a PhD research aimed to analyze the regional potential for NZEB Brazil.
