Comment to the Letter to the Editor: Does "signet-ring stromal tumor" exist? In reply to the comments by Teresa Pusiol et al.

The observation of Pusiol T et al. (2013) [1] is justified, and we apologize, the mistake occurred here when translating the reply to the journal. More specific, instead of “Signet-ring-like stromal non-tumoral cells” the final translation showed “Signet-ring stromal tumor”. As a proof of this is also the legend of the image, which is referred to in the text, respectively “Figure 2 – (h) Non-tumoral stromal cells with “signet ring” pattern, HE stain, ×200” [2]. Also, in the same line, to support the existence of such cells, we insert here some extra low power images (Figure 1, a–c). The entity “Signet-ring stromal tumor” seems not to exist indeed, and also it would not be justified in a review that aims endometrial pseudotumoral lesions. To acknowledge all these, we will ask the editor to introduce an erratum to the manuscript that should state this translation error.
