Aquaporins and the regulation of amniotic fluid circulation

Abstract The purpose of this study was to focuse on aquaporins and their role in the regulation of amniotic fluid circulation. Review. The summary about aquaporins which were first described as channels increased permeability of lipid membranes to water in response to osmotic and/or hydrostatic gradients. The present review summarizes the results of clinical and experimental research on aquaporins and the regulation of amniotic fluid circulation.
