La enseñanza mediante el debate en la formación inicial docente : dificultades y oportunidades

2020
This project was carried out in a public university in Bogota, the objective is: to understand the perceptions that a group of students of the Bachelor of Sport has about the debate as a teaching strategy, in addition to the purpose of analyzing its possibilities and difficulties. Next, some antecedents are narrated among them: the origins, strengthening and diffusion of the debate in the political sphere and its subsequent transfer to didactic use within the school sphere. From meticulous traces, it was possible to establish the problem, the scarce presence of the academic debate in the Colombian educational field and especially in higher education, a situation that motivated to propose a strategy of intervention and research in the university classroom, the first from three different debate formats, the second was approached from the interpretive hermeneutical paradigm, embracing a qualitative research model proposed by Vasilachis (2006). The established analysis categories arise from the contributions found in Cattani (2003), the contributions that emerged as a contribution from the students were also collected, while they found difficulties and opportunities in the experience. The treatment given to the information provided by the students, in the focus groups, goes through the criteria of rigor, informed consent, confidentiality, reflexivity. The analysis of the information was developed from the recommendations of Gil Flores (1994) - Reduction of data by inductive coding, arrangement of data in matrices for the systematization of the corpus of information collected and drawing of inferences and conclusions. The investigation report was developed throughout the process, although not without startles, in the transferring, new documentary aspects and stumbling blocks typical of any investigative process were found, skillfully suffocated by the project director
