Эффективность использования криоконсервированной спермы баранов в условиях западного Казахстана

The results of Akzhaik dual-purpose sheep insemination using the sperm of Northcaucasians dual-purpose sheep frozen by the conventional practice, in granules, in the mid-1990 s., are submitted in the article. It is shown that long-term storage of rams’ sperm in liquid nitrogen did not reduce its biological value. It is found that it had a sufficiently high fertilizing capacity. The findings obtained as result of laboratory examinations demonstrated rather high viability of thawed out sperm, which was confirmed by the 4.5 points sperms motility.
