Dalla micropropagazione convenzionale alla micropropagazione autotrofa

2009
From conventional to autotrophic micropropagation Abstract. Photosynthesis in conventional micro- propagation is hindered by the presence of carbohy- drates in the medium, by the limited gas exchanges and by insufficient light intensity. However, it is possi- ble to lead the explants towards the development of the photosynthetic activity combining several strate- gies: reducing the carbohydrate amounts with passive ventilation of vessels or removing carbon sources from the media with more sophisticated systems of carbonic enrichment. In this work, artificial substrates and ventilated vessels were used to enhance the pho- tosynthetic activity and the rooting process, demon- strating also that plantlets could improve their perfor- mances to face the acclimatization process.
