Synthesis and evaluation of some new substituted phenylthiazole derivatives and their antitubercular activity

A new series of substituted phenylthiazole derivatives have been synthesized and the structures of these compounds have been established on the basis of spectral and elemental analysis. All compounds have been screened for antitubercular activity by Middle brook 7H9 agar medium against H 37 Rv. strain. Most of these compounds have shown promising antitubercular activity.
