Assay for scavenger receptors on human monocyte-derived macrophages

Abstract An assay for scavenger receptors on human monocyte-derived macrophages is described: the preparation of the two main ligands used in the assay is given in detail, and a protocol for 125 I-acetyl-LDL binding measurements to monocyte-derived macrophages is reported.
