Parity factors for comparing the economics of projected power stations

1973
The introduction of parity factors allows rational treatment of the problems involved in cost-effectiveness studies of power stations or their components. If the thermodynamic parameters are altered, the capital equivalent of the change can be found with the aid of a parity factor---a kind of economic index. Two parity factors are presented, and their application is shown generally and by means of examples. (auth)
