The paper describes the process of the analysis of the dependence of the refraction angle on the applied voltage to fiber extension that is the basis of building sensor devices with sensitive element based on the optical fiber. As a variable parameter of the system, the load, applied along the fiber extension, is chosen. An experimental installation that allows measuring the power of the fundamental modes is set up and described. The results of the experiments showed the theoretical value of the angle of refraction differ from the values obtained experimentally, not more than 4.1 %. The dependence of the refraction angle on the constant of the transmission of the monochromatic emitter at different ranges of the applied load is analyzed. Five different monochromatic emitters are chosen and the corresponding diagrams are built. The received dependences will allow us to design a sensor of load measurement.
