General Theory of Design and its Application to Design/Planning/ in Medicine

The study presents an outlined base of the general theory of design, paying special attention to these elements of this theory wich are directly related to medicine. One discusses the process of planning a therapeutic and diagnostic procedure by a doctor. The authors stress, among others, a great importance of competence in solving problems of a design type by doctors, and computer-aided doctor’s planning.
