Ensuring Security in Sharing of Information Using Cryptographic Technique

2019
The issue of security of information is paramount in our society. There are many hackers around us to steal our private information such as passwords. To secure such information, we intend to create ciphertext. Ciphertexts are the words that can only be obtained by authorized persons or users. Ciphertexts can be obtained by performing encryption on the plaintexts. Ciphertexts do not have any meaning. These texts can only be understood after decryption. Our work shows that the information can be retrieved by the authorized person in a few milliseconds whereas it takes much time for an unauthorized person or a third party. In order to perform encryption, we have proposed an algorithm in such a way that it combines many algorithms such as the Caesar cipher, mono-alphabetic cipher, hill algorithms. Different algorithms are applied to individual cases like a plain text that is in uppercase, lowercase, special characters, and numbers. For each case, we have used different algorithms with different keys. We hope that we can suggest an approach for protecting the private information at a higher level.
