Development and application of cyclodextrin fluorescence enhancement for aflatoxin B1 test in peanuts.

We reported a novel and safe fluorescence enhancement,using β-cyclodextrin and its derivatives for aflatoxin B1 in peanuts.1mL β-cyclodextrin or its derivatives mixed in 2mL aflatoxin solutions,showed the best performance with enhancement times of 5 and 8 respectively.A high correlation (R20.99) was observed before and after the fluorescence enhancement,and the LOD was 0.3μg/kg.The recovery was between 90% and 120% by spiking different concentrations of AFB1.When the data compared to a reference HPLC,the relative error was less than 4%.Our research offered a new way to detect aflatoxin with high sensitive,fast method.
