The utility model is not additionally provided with a water-cooling device and an air-cooling device at a conducting bottom according to the insufficiency of the conducting bottom of the single electrode DC electric arc furnace in the prior art. The furnace bottom of the electric arc furnace of the utility model comprises a smelting pot, a connecting layer and a conducting electrode, wherein, one end of the conducting electrode is arranged in the connecting layer, and the other end of the conducting electrode outside the connecting layer is connected with an external power supply.
