The invention provides a high-strength continuous glass fiber reinforced nylon 6 material and a preparation method thereof, the high-strength continuous glass fiber reinforced nylon 6 material comprises the following components by mass ratio: 30-70wt% of nylon, 30-70wt% of composite fiber containing glass fiber, 0.2-0.6wt% of coupling agent, and 0.3-0.6wt% of anti-oxidant. The method comprises the following steps: drying nylon 6 resin under 100 DEG C, then blending nylon 6, a coupling agent and an anti-oxidant; adding a blending object in a double screw extruder for melt extrusion, wherein the processing temperature is 230-250 DEG C; preheating the continuous composite fiber and drying; passing the continuous composite fiber through a specially-produced die, fusing the nylon 6 fiber in the continuous composite fiber, infiltrating glass fibre in the composite fiber by a melt, merging fiber bundle and molten resin from the extruder, completely infiltrating glass fiber, removing from a port of the specially-produced die after a certain of distance, and finally producing the high-strength continuous glass fiber reinforced nylon 6 material. The method has the advantages of simple technology, easy operation of production equipment and excellent product performance.
