Apparatus and method for inductive heating of metallic components

The present invention relates to a device (10) for inductive heating of metallic components (16, 18), in particular components of a gas turbine, with at least one induction generator. The device (10) while at least two separately formed inductor (12, 14), wherein at least one of the induction coils (12, 14) in the direction of the components to be heated (16, 18) is movable, such that the components to be heated (16, 18) between the induction coils (12, 14) come to rest and the induction coils (12, 14) a corresponding shared workspace (20) form. The invention further relates to a method for the inductive heating of metallic components, in particular components of a gas turbine.
