The amnestic value of diazepam at forceps delivery

EXPERIENCES using intravenous diazepam at forceps delivery in 45 patients are contrasted with forceps deliveries in 33 other patients. Neonatal welfare and degree of amnesia are compared. Two hypotheses are put forward for a further test by double-blind control study.
