The invention relates to a double monitor heat exchanger which used the cross-helical tube, involving a heat exchanger which is cross-channeled to the heat exchange medium with the heat exchange tube. For improving the engine exhaust recycle heat exchanger and increasing the exchange efficiency. The heat exchangers includes shell, heat exchange tube, sub-partition, the tube board and the tube box; the heat exchange tube is a cross-helical groove heat exchange tube, including the stainless steel tube which has the entad raised cross-helical groove on the surface, the cross is the 'X'-shaped, the section shape of the stainless steel pipe is a special flat shape, and the height and width of the section shape in the flat shape heat exchange tube are unlikeness. The heat exchanger divides the pipe into two parts by the clapboard, and the two parts tube is different. The double monitor heat exchanger is particularly suitable for the exhaust gas recycle coolers of a vehicle engine, raise the heat exchanger efficiency and enhance the vehicle engine discharge performance indicators to meet environmental discharge requirement. The invention as a turbocharger system mid cooler, can also improve the engine performance.
