A Survey of Wuhan College Freshmen's Adjustment

485 college freshmen in Wuhan are surveyed with China College Freshmen Adjustment Scale. The results indicate that firstly college freshmen in Wuhan adjust pretty well to the new interpersonal relationship, but poorly to the new living surroundings; so in general, they adapt well to their new colleges; Secondly freshmen's adjustment to their new colleges are significantly affected by the following four demographic factors:origin, whether they are the only child in their families, how well their family members get along with one another,and whether they have boarding experience before.
