Software Package Development to Improve Occupational Safety at Electric Power Industry Enterprises

The article describes the main approaches of software package development to improve the culture of labor safety at the electric power industry enterprises, which can be used in the framework of training and retraining programs for labor protection specialists and employees of energy enterprises responsible for work safety. The results of the analysis of software products currently existing in this area are presented.Аnalysis of opportunities, technical requirements, prevalence, application area, technical support, advantages and disadvantages of software for training and professional development is carried out. The key drawbacks associated with the complexity of the interface, late updating of information, the presence of unverified information, and incompatibility with many operating systems are identified. The structure and content of software main sections being developed is proposed. It includes: a database of legal documents in the field of industrial safety, tests and training complex, a service with online support of experts, reference articles and supporting documents.
