INVESTIGATION OF MAGNETIC PROPERTIES AND M?SSBAUER SPECTRA OF La x Ba 1-x Fe 12-x Zn x O 19 FERRITES

The hexagonal ferrites La x Ba 1-x Fe 12-x Zn x O 19 were prepared by oxalate eopreci-pitation method. The ferrites with magnet oplumbite structure were found to be formed for x f and the magnetic crystal anisotropy constant k decreases with increasing x. M?ssbauer spectra have revealed that Zn 2+ ion tends to occupy 4f 2 site.
