A process for the production of glass ceramic with texture

A method for producing a glass-ceramic with texture, comprising the steps of: - providing a precursor glass body having a first and a second surface; - placing of the precursor glass body in a conventional oven with the first surface in contact with a block body having a larger or smaller heat capacity than that of the precursor glass body, wherein the second surface of the precursor glass body of the atmosphere of the furnace is exposed and - heating the precursor glass body within the furnace in contact with the block body to the ceramization of the precursor glass body under a temperature gradient, without moving the precursor glass body relative thereto, to produce a ceramic body with texture.
