At 1985, the crude incidence rate of lung cancer among the male miners was 584.26/105 and the standardized incidence rate was 253.86/105 The incidence rate of lung cancer among miners who started underground works in the recent 35 years is tending dounwards. The average onset age of lung cancer was 62.8, and the average death age was 63.5. The average time from the starting of underground working to the diagnosis of lung cancer was about 40 years.
