A simple one-step hydroxyapatiite ocular prosthesis'implants

Objective To introduce a simple way of hydroxyapafiite orbital implants.Methods Affter enucha- tion,hydroxyapatiite orbital implants were implanted with four rectus sutured to the implants betwent medial retus and supe- rior retus muscle.They were covered by double scleras.Results After 12 to 24months follow-up,it was found that in26 cases,the eyelids were plumpand prosthesis moved well,but one was recovered then reimplanted by surgery.Conclusion It was a good method for the implantation of hydroxyapatiite orbital implants.
