ESCOLA E AVALIAÇÕES EXTERNAS: IMPLICAÇÕES DE UM MODELO DE EDUCAÇÃO DIRIGIDO PARA RESULTADOS

The culture of external evaluation, well standardised and on a large-scale has made the Brazilian guidelines for educational system progressively oriented towards a model characterised by the achievement of results. Hence, the autonomy of management of schools, the school curriculum, teaching practice and the students are certainly affected. Based on qualitative methods, including bibliographical and documentary research, this study aims to discuss the effects originated from this educational model, which has prioritized the achievement of statistical objectives rather than the social values of the education. We verified that this orientation has been generating harmful implications for the educational process and induces the formation of subjects shaped according to the current social paradigm.
